Remove team access
Take a teammate off your clinic so they can no longer open it in Keel.
Purpose
Removing someone takes away their access to this centre. It doesn't hand their work to anyone else, so prepare first if they're still holding patients or conversations.
Before you start
only the clinic Owner can remove people.
removing someone doesn't move their upcoming appointments, conversations or sign-off cover.
Do Prepare for a staff departure first (Related).
if they haven't joined yet, cancel their invite instead. Find it under Pending invites and
select Cancel.
Steps
Step 1: Open their actions
Doin the sidebar, select Team. Under Members, select ⋯ next to the person.
You'll seeRemove from clinic at the bottom of the menu.
Step 2: Remove them from the clinic
Doselect Remove from clinic, then confirm Remove [name] from this clinic?.
You'll seethey're no longer listed under Members.
Sothey can't open this centre in Keel any more, and their seat is free.
Result
You'll seethe member count on Team goes down by one.
Soif they sign in again with no other centre, Keel shows You don't have access to a clinic. and tells
them to ask their clinic.
Soyour Front Office agents no longer offer them for bookings.
If it doesn't work
- If you see: No ⋯ next to anyoneOnly the Owner can remove people. Ask your clinic Owner.
- If you see: No ⋯ on your own rowYou can't remove yourself. Ask another Owner.
- If you see: They're still listed, and a short error shows in the menuIf they're your only Owner, make someone else Owner (co-owner) first, then remove them
- If you see: They're not under MembersThey haven't joined yet. Select Cancel on their row under Pending invites.
- Working: They're gone from MembersDone
Limits
removal applies to this centre only. If they work at another of your centres, they keep that
access.
the notes they signed and the records they made stay as they are.
to bring someone back, invite them again with the same email. They're added straight away.
Checked against the Keel product source and in the live product on 2026-10-09. No step on this page was observed. The member menu, removing a teammate and what they see afterwards were not exercised.
