What your trial includes
See what your 14-day Keel trial gives you, how many seats and AI notes it has, and what it doesn't include.
Purpose
Every new Keel practice starts on a 14-day trial. This guide shows what the trial gives you, where to see it in Keel, and what it leaves out, so nothing surprises you before it ends.
Before you start
the trial starts when you create your practice. You don't choose a plan at sign-up.
no card is needed for the trial.
only the clinic Owner sees the plan and seat details on the Team page.
Steps
Step 1: Read your trial terms
Dowhen you create your practice, read the trial box beside the sign-up form.

Sothe trial runs for 14 days and includes 10 AI-written consultation notes.
Step 2: Check your seats
Doopen Settings, then Team.
You'll seeYour plan, with a seat count for each role, such as Owner 1/1. A role with no seats left
shows full.
Sothe trial has one Owner seat and one Front Desk seat. It has no seat for a second doctor or for Finance.
Step 3: Follow your usage
Dokeep an eye on the banner at the top of Keel.
You'll seea navy banner when you are close to a limit, for example 8 of 10 AI notes used, with
Upgrade for more →.
SoKeel warns you before a limit stops you, and the link opens the plans.
select ✕ to hide the banner. It comes back when the count changes.

Soyou can run consultations with AI notes and keep patient records from day one. Only the AI notes have a
hard limit.
If it doesn't work
- If you see: Your plan isn't on the Team pageOnly the Owner sees it. Ask your Owner (who can change the plan)
- If you see: Seat limit reached when you invite someoneThe trial has no seat left for that role. Request an upgrade (related)
- If you see: AI note limit reachedYou've used the trial's 10 AI notes. Request an upgrade (related)
- Working: No bannerYou are not close to any limit yet
Limits
the trial does not include the Front Office agents that answer calls and WhatsApp messages,
or billing.
AI notes are counted over the whole trial, not per month.
one clinic per trial. Adding a second clinic is not available during the trial.
Checked against the Keel product source and in the live product on 2026-10-09. Opening Team from Settings, and that only the Owner sees the plan details on Team, were observed. The sign-up trial box, seat counts, usage banner and limit notices were not observed.
