Choose which clinicians provide a service
Say which doctors perform each service, so your Front Office agents only offer it with them.
Purpose
Your Front Office agents offer a service only with the doctors who perform it. You can set this from either side: per service (who does this?) or per doctor (what does this doctor do?). Both change the same list.
Before you start
only the clinic Owner can change who performs a service. Everyone else can look but not
change it.
the list shows team members with the Doctor or Owner role. To add a doctor, invite them
first.
a new doctor starts with every active service ticked. A new service starts with every doctor
ticked. You only need to untick.
Steps
Per service. Use this when you know which service needs changing.
Step 1: Open the service
Doon Today, select Rate card. With SHOWING on Everyone, select the service, then Edit service.
You'll seeWho performs it with a count such as 2 of 2, and one line per doctor.
Step 2: Tick the doctors
Dokeep each doctor who performs this service ticked, and untick anyone who doesn't.
You'll seenext to each doctor, Agents can book this, Performs this or Doesn’t perform this.
SoPerforms this means the doctor is ticked, but something else on the rate card still stops agents.
Step 3: Save the service
Doselect Save changes. To undo your ticks instead, select Cancel.
You'll seethe row's status line names who performs it, for example · both doctors perform it ›.
Per doctor. Use this when a doctor's work changes.
Step 4: Open a doctor's view
Doon the rate card, under SHOWING, select the doctor's name. With more than four doctors, pick them
from the list.
You'll seea PERFORMS column with a tick for each service.
on the Everyone list, selecting · <doctor> performs it › on a row opens the same view.
Step 5: Tick their services
Dountick each service this doctor doesn't perform, and tick any they do.
You'll seeeach change saves straight away. The row reads Agents can book this with and the doctor's name,
or that the doctor doesn't perform it.
Soagents stop offering that service with this doctor. They still offer it with any other doctor who
performs it.
Result
You'll seein a doctor's view, the Front desk agents tab counts what agents can book with that doctor.
You'll seeon the Everyone list, each service names who performs it.
If it doesn't work
- If you see: No doctor can perform this — agents can't book itSelect Choose who does › and tick at least one doctor (step 2)
- If you see: No doctor performs this — agents can never book it (in a doctor's view)Tick it for a doctor who performs it (step 5)

Limits
a tick alone doesn't make a service bookable. It also needs a price, a description and your
approval.
if you untick everything for a doctor, Keel shows now performs nothing. Agents can't book
that doctor at all.
if that doctor's role changes later, their services may be ticked again. Check back after a
role change.
a doctor's view can't change a service's name, price or wording. Switch SHOWING to
Everyone for that.
different prices for different doctors are not available.
Checked against the Keel product source and in the live product on 2026-10-09. The SHOWING control with each doctor, new services starting with every doctor ticked, the who-performs-it link on a row and the view-only rate card for non-owners were observed. A doctor's own view, saving ticks and the error messages were not exercised.
